One of our Supporters Charles Paxton some time ago asked me if I would agree for him to put forward the possibility of one of Eddie Stobart trucks to be named after me. I never expected to hear any more, however,

I have received a certificate from William Stobart to say that Scania Registration number PX09 BJO Fleet Number L7198 was named Carolyn Grace in 2009.

See if you can spot this Scania and let us know. It is all good fun and I have to say, an honour!

With my thanks to Charles

          Hello Carolyn,

Well done on your latest on honour. There is a vast following out there of Stobart spotters, web sites, etc.
I think one even has a league table for top spotters. I guess when someone spots The " Carolyn Grace Scania",
they can look up the story behind it, so may be good publicity and possible new supporters.
How about a competition to see who'll be the first to spot and post a photo of the CG Scania on the forum.
I'll happily buy, say, a Grace Spitfire cap and t-shirt to donate to the winner, if that's OK.

Well done Charles for making this happen

                                            Regards Paul  Grin Grin

Hi Paul
I have been doing a spot of detective work and have discovered that the "Carolyn Grace" Eddie Stobart Scania is based in Corby.

Hello Margaret (mum of the lovely Hazel),

Well done. So does this mean you're off to Corby with your camera ?   Grin Grin

Saw five Eddie Stobart trucks on the A14 today near Corby, none of them the right one!

           Hello Trevor,

I've just had a quick look on Stobarts site, there are around 1500 trucks in the whole group !!

Imagine the fuel bill  Grin Grin Grin
