Were you flying approx north / north east over Tonbridge at approximately 14:30 this afternoon?
It was certainly a Spitfire with D day markings?

Funnily enough I heard a familiar sound and saw a familiar shape routing south and then turning south east over Farnborough (Hants) from the back garden some time earlier.....so you could be right

That was probably Peter Teichman in his Spitfire XI on his way back from Headcorn. I helped put it to bed at North Weald. He had been to White Waltham as well.

You may be right as my Farnborough siting would seem to coincide with White Waltham to keep west of the London ATZ

It was not ML407 as she is in the Hangar at Duxford. Hope to fly her this week however.
