Some time ago I told that I would make a painting of the Grace Spitfire.
Here you can see the result in " The making of" on canvas...size 120 x 60 cm.
Also I,m working on a painting "Tribute to Pete Brothers"  with 3 Spitfires flying a Missing man formation in the background and the Spit flying away is....ML407 The Grace Spitfire.
The paintings will be shown for the first time to public at the Open Days of the Dutch Airforce in June

Thank you...always nice to hear that I did a good job.
Graham..looking at your photo, the background  looks almost the same..could be the same landscape.
Just to make sure...this is the photo I found and used for my painting.
