im planning on visiting duxford 17th of this month , i never realised how far it was lol .tbh i never felt i had to go down that far with the airshows that were more local to me but after been on here and reading the attraction and love towards ml407 i feel its only fitting to go down and see the legendary spit for myself .
is there anyone i could have a chat to whilst down there , i know you all have jobs to do but would anyone mind a chat 'i feel a bit cheecky asking but if you dont ask you dont get do you'

Dan,
Welcome to the board.
Can I ask you where you live, you say "go down that far" so I gather you live up north somewhere.
Although we will not have the stall at the airshow there are normally a few of us wandering around normally wearing ML407 poloshirts. A few of us supporters will be meeting at some time so watch the board as we have not arranged anything as yet.
You are welcome to come for a chat and we will tell you what we know about ML407...if you want to get technical then perhaps Steve may be around...
Regards

Hello Dan,
I tend to be found at the far end of the overflow car park, well away from the PA system, but far too close to the free-loaders, who climb under the wire fence from the next door field. I'll be there for pretty much the entire day from about 10.30, with the occasional toilet break. I'm always up for a chat, in between displays, anyway, but once I start recording I tend to be a bit uncommunicative. It's a bit of a long walk from the main drag, but if you've got a spare moment, it's always good to say hello. As always, look for the big grey furry windshield on pole and I'll be somewhere near it.
Hope to see you there.
Best wishes,
John
