Tiger Moth Debut

« on: October 03, 2006, 05:25:22 AM »

I just received my copy here in Arizona of the October Essex Magazine and was blown away by the wonderful Article about Carolyn and Ml407.  I think it was beautifully and tastefully done with very lovely pictures and text and a wonderful plug for the Supporter's Group. I would be surprised if this does not result in many new subscriptions.  It is great to see this kind of publicity and recognition. Three cheers.
p.s. I hope this is not old news to you islanders. David Streeter

I hadn't heard about this at all, but lets hope it does get new supporters onboard!

I have given links to the joiner form to a couple of people this week as well - hopefully they will join up, they seemed very interested!

This article came as a surprise to Olivia as well whilst out shopping she saw her mother on the cover of a glossy magazine - poor girl!

I did not know it was coming out either but it is just great enhanced of course by Darren Harbars gifted photography.

I am thrilled and somewhat amazed it is in Arizona! Thank you so much for letting us know and welcome.

The reason we get the magazine in Arizona is that our relatives in Manningtree, Essex subscribe to it for us.  Perhaps it hits the

subscribers before the newstands, even in America.  The article might also be in the Suffolk Magazine as many of the articles overlap

because they are in East Anglia and have the same publisher.  English Magazines are highly sought after in America, especially This

England, In Britain, Realm
etc.  It would be wonderful if a similar article could be published in them  because they have a huge American

readership and could  recruit more subscribers.

Cheerio for now.

My girlfriend went home today and managed to pick up a copy of Essex Magazine for me while she was there, so I will get to have a read when she returns tonight Cheesy
