Yesterday afternoon Duxford was treated to a very different, refreshing and superbly executed flying display by Richard. Several supporters made it for the event to support him as did Carolyn and Olivia, of course.

I think the rounds of applause received, one as Richard taxied back in, another as he climbed out of the cockpit and a further round as he walked back to the tower spoke volumes.

Very very well done Richard!

Here are some photographs for you:

Fantastic pics James. Gutted that I couldn't be there with you all to witness Richard's display. Glad it all went well for him.
Kind regards.

great photos as usual James, and congrats to Richard, what an achievement , it certainly must be in the blood,

Carolyn must of been grinning from ear to ear watching Richard on his first official display, what a truly amazing family,

england should be very very proud of them , ML 407 must feel very comfortable with mother and son now at her

controls, if she could speak I'm guessing she would of said  " come on Richard lets show them what we can do , I've known

you since you where a toddler and been waiting for this day "         crazy-haze x   Grin Grin Grin

Fantastic pictures, James; a suitable memento for a the occasion. I was very glad to be there and judging by the comments of the general public and also the chaps at Classic Wings when I made my Rapide hop later on, a display that impressed and excited all who saw it. I even saw Richard signing autographs at one point!

A brilliant day for one and all. Many congratulations.

Lol, thanks Darren Smiley

Hey, it's a start! Now they have heard of me I need to start getting off my backside and sending CD's from displays in Smiley

I'll have to buy a catapult and some ball bearings as I can't run after you at the moment!
