One on the BBC news site: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/puffbox/hyperpuff/audiovideo/england/norfolk/8655190.stm

This is from Look East - This should open in Windows media player or similar. Click here to the item - it will only last until the next broadcast I think as it isn't iPlayer.

Skip ahead to 21:30 for the piece. A particularly moving looking flight - well done Richard, Olivia, CG and Stevie K.

Great stuff - some nice pictures and a good story, well presented and properly emotional.

I'm down in Suffolk at the moment, attending a  wedding on the beach at Walberswick in what looks to be some pretty nasty weather tomorrow, so it was good to see that the weather held for the anniversary flight.

Lots of love and good wishes to all involved.

Regards,

John

It was an emotional moment when Richard stopped the engine and the reality of my ambiiton to keep ML407 flying with a Grace in the cockpit overwhelmed me. Richard flew her so well.

The link is also on you tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXhY0myahlY or if you search 'Grace Spitfire' so hopefully it will stay there past the new bulletin.

It is very good of James to put up the links.  the extended one on the BBC news online shows some great filming of ML407 in the air.

So pleased we managed to mark this imiportant and significant anniversary in April.

Carolyn,
Absolutly superb....some very good shots of ML407 on the ground and in the air...even Stevie K looked "andsome".

I can understand how you felt at shutdown, and how you have struggled over the years to keep ML407 flying as a tribute to Nick. I'm with you on that and am proud to be a supporter.

Having watched Richard over the years progress to becoming a Spitfire pilot and then taking Mum for a flight is a very...very special occasion.

Regards and my very best to you, Richard and Olivia and of course not forgetting Stevie K.

Wow, absolutely brilliant, and a fitting tribute to Nick, and indeed to you Carolyn, Olivia, Richard.
ML407 as always looked superb, great job by Stevie K and you all.
As Andy said, proud to be a supporter and involved with such a historic Spitfire.
Anyone not moved by this, can't be human.

         Very best wishes
