Tiger Moth Debut

« on: June 08, 2010, 07:32:54 PM »

Hello to All, I went online and ordered the June issue of Flypast from www.Keypublishing.com/shop and was absolutely overwhelmed by having the magazine delivered in 3 days to Arizona from the UK.  This is truly a collector's edition.  Not only is it the best tribute I have seen to the Grace Spitfire Story, but is packed with information on other flying and non-flying Spitfires.  The coverage was just great and now I have a much better understanding of the team and the new location.  In addition, Flypast included a 75th anniversary tribute edition of Flying Fortress-American Idol, the story of the B-17.  Needless to say, I have spent the last 2 evenings reading these magazines from cover to cover.  I just ordered the Battle of Britain 70th Anniversary Tribute for 4.99 pounds and it should be at WH Smith and other agents right now.  Enjoy!

Thanks for the "heads up" regarding the magazine. Picked one up from the museum last week and have been so busy, I haven't had time to even open the wrapper!!!

Cheers,
Clive from Canada.

Flypast Editor Ken Ellis is very supportive of the Grace Spitfire and indeed all historical aviaiton matters.  Flypast has stood the test of time and no doubt will continue to do so.  You will enjoy the piece when you get th etime to read it Clive.

Hi Carolyn! yes, it was indeed a very good article. In fact, I enjoyed the whole magazine but especially enjoyed reading about the Grace Spitfire!
