Rabbit Leader to Cowslip Control

Picked up the August edition of Flypast and there is a report on the Bentwaters Airshow on page 76 entitled "Back from the Cold War".

Its starts saying that readers of a certain age will remember when the USAF were here and the airshows that they staged which ceased when they left in 1993.

Now Bentwaters has been reborn and the June article mentioned how this has happened in the hands of the Kemball family, the arrival of the Grace Spitfire and the work of all the volunteers of the Bentwaters Cold War Museum.

Get hold of a copy and have a read as it a very complimentary article to all the hard work that has put Bentwaters back on the map.

I only wish I had attended but the dishwasher took precedence !!!!!!!

Yes, it is a very good article. There was also a full page of photos in the local paper (Evening Star) either Monday or Tuesday.
Next Sunday is our Open Day at the Museum so we have another busy weekend in prospect!
