Hi,

This is what I saw of the Grace Spitfire. Wonderful display, look forward to seeing it again, with luck the saturday show at DX next week.

Really nice piece of video and a characteristically sweet display from Carolyn. Thanks for posting - it's made me more determined to get to DX this weekend.

Best wishes,

John

If it makes a noise, I'll record it. If it moves and makes a noise, I'll record it in in high definition surround-sound.

Thank you John, and hope the weather is 'kind' for us all next weekend, unlike this weekend, but again, it's bank holiday !!

Thanks for posting Gary.  It was a lovely display by Carolyn as always.  I though the whole day was excellent, a cracking airshow.
Did you happen to film Richard and Dave in their Pitts.

Will check the Sywell flie, if I got them I'll post via Fliickr link. I did get two shots of them, on stickandrudder.ning, one was a taxi-ing, one sure weither it's Richard or Dave, and a shot of the pair of them during their display. 'Click' on the Blogs 'section' look for Sywell 2010 blog, and look for them. Meantime I will check to see if I've caught them.

thank you very much for posting your video I am always relieved when I see that my positioning was good enough to facilitate photos and filming.  The crowd line at Sywell is an odd one as it is staggered so adds extra challenges.  What a lovely Airshow that was though and such a superb airfield and people who run it.

I thought your display, was great, in a number of ways, for a start, the P/A system allowed us to hear the sound of the Merlin, and you kept the aircraft well within eye-sight of everyone, and at no-time did anyone need a 'telescope' to see you !!
It's rare I get to see you 'display' these days,, but it was a delight to watch, and I get another chance on saturday !!
