Hi,

Just found out, via a friend in the US, that the BoB event last weekend, will not be the last time I see a Spitfire this year. I'm off to Atlanta on the 7th of october to take in two airshows plus museums, and 'The Great Georgia Airshow' at Falcon Field at Peachtree City, where my friends tell me the Virginia Beach air museum Spitfire, will be taking part in the show. Never seen a Spitfire display in the US before, so looking forward to that, and will report how it went.

Gary,
This October display sounds excellent.  I have not yet seen a Spitfire airborne in the U.S.;
the closest is the Flying Heritage Collection at Paine Field north of Seattle where billionaire
Paul Allen has a Mark V Spitfire that apparently has rarely scheduled flying days.
Enjoy the October show!
My best,
Mike

Thanks Mike, I hope everything goes well with the visit to Falcon Field, and looking forward to seeing this Spitfire.
