Did see a Spitfire at this great show, although the early morning weather (rain) on the day looked like it was going to be a wash-out, it turned out okey.

Great show terrible parking and disappointed the BBMF sent a post war painted spit to the 70th anniversary of the BofB show

Yes, was a great show, and the weather was kind as the morning went on. As for the parking, I agree, but to be fair from what I could see, they tried-out a new park and ride operation, but what they did not take into account was the heavy rain in the early hours. I understand that they shut the park and ride, in one spot because cars were getting bogged-down !! I had an hire-car , but at the last minute elected to leave it at the hotel in St.Andrews, and catch the bus, but due to an accident and flooding, we ended up walking with the 'Blades' officals to the event, as the bus to Dundee was re-directed via the 'sticks'. Was it post war ? I thought it was sent out to Italy in that finish, unless I read it wrong. Was nice to see with the 'blowlamps', think they had trouble 'keeping-up' !!
