Just caught a bit of what looked like an hour long documentary on BBC2 about the ATA
Can anyone depress me and confirm my suspicions

During BoB week I was industrious with the old computer-based TV recorder and have the following programs recorded that I can put to DVD, if anyone missed them. It's not going to be a fast turn round, but I'll do my best t deal with as many requests as I can.
Battlefield Britain - Peter & Dan Snow - The Battle Of Britain
David Jason - The Battle of Britain
First Light - Dramatization of The Geoffrey Wellum book
Fighting The Blue - Spirits In The Wind, Anything You Can Do, Britain Needs You, We can Take It.
Battle Of Britain - The Gathering Storm & Aftermath
Spitfire Women - The ATA documentary
Wellington Bomber - British workers build a Wellington from scratch in a day.
The Battle Of Britain - Colin & Ewan McGregor
Heroes of World War 2 - The Man Who Designed The Spitfire (Shown a couple of years ago.)
Regards,
John

Fantastic coverage for the 70th B-o-B anniversary,
I watched the ATA programme again too which was very moving, those ATA girls deserved a medal - they are so humble too in their interviews considering their achievements, hats off to the ATA girls.

Hello folks,
I posted half a dozen packages, all first class mail, to various people in the UK on Monday. It seems that some (not to people on this list) have failed to arrive as yet. Could you confirm that you've got yours?
Thanks,
John

I read also this week, that there is going to be a 'Women' in aviation' display at Duxford next year, to mark the role of women in aviation, and the mark, they have made throughout the years in aviation in this country. I nominate someone, who as shown great spirit, in carrying-on with a project so dear to her and without question. Because in my mind, this lady deserves to be with the finest.
I hope this lady is there, and will take great pride, in watching her be there.
Gary.

Is repeated today at 21:00 and again at 01:50 tomorrow on BBC 4 for those who missed it. The programme about building a Wellington in record time is on at 23:50 on BBC 4 as well.
BTW, my offer of copies of this and the other material still stands, by the way.
Best wishes,
John

Spitfire Women was on SBS1 in Perth last night - it takes a while to catch up with Uk tv . What a fascinating bunch of ladies , pity more time couldn't be given to cover their contribution during the 2nd world war.
