Getting very close to that time of year again, must admit this will be my first ML407 event of the year due to work and family issues.
Roll on retirement....I wish.

Anyway, looking forward to meeting everyone again and have a nice relaxing day !

Yes, can't believe it's nearly a year.Retirement age is coming along too fast for my liking, not ready for pipe and slippers yet....
Andy, are you bringing krister along with you . Lets hope the weather is as lovely as last year.

   See you next week

Smiley  Great to hear that the weather held for the gathering - unfortunately I was unable to come this year....but have already booked up for coming again to the 2012 gathering.

Congratulations Andy on your magnificent and emotional win Smiley   I look forward to reading a full report & photo's in due course  Grin

To echo Andy's words, thank you to all the Grace family, engineers & supporters for allowing us to share a little piece of heaven....ML407.

Best regards,

It was indeed another good day: the rain held off for both the flights, Richard in the morning and Carolyn in the afternoon, and then the heavens opened whilst the gallant catering staff battled with the barbecue with true British grit and determination.  Good food, good company, inspirational speeches, stunning flying: brilliantly organised and executed, as always. Mr. Kingman fully in control of both men and machines, but only just of his emotions on receiving a special award - well deserved.

Congratulations and salutations to all, and I hope that those of you who bought CDs had a blast playing them on the way home.

Best wishes,

John

(PS - look out for the ML407 ring-tone; coming to a phone near you very soon.)

If it makes a noise, I'll record it. If it moves and makes a noise, I'll record it in in high definition surround-sound.

John,
As you say we beat the weather and the Gathering was yet another resounding success, my congrats to all those "young" people doing all the hard work while I sat down and thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Been listening to your CD this morning at very loud volume and did a loop and a couple of rolls @ around 65kts travelling up the M3 to see my mother !
Brilliant stuff...and with the music ....well what can I say...

I don't think there is anything I can add to what has already been said, yet again a brilliant day.
We were very lucky with the weather, although Karen Haynes,me and a couple of the BCWM guys got a soaking down at the gate at one point.
I can thoroughly recommend John's CD, great sound.
Many thanks to Carolyn, Richard and Olivia and the rest of the team.
Not wishing time away, but here's to next year.

  Best wishes
