I love ML407!

« on: June 26, 2011, 10:22:30 PM »

Hi All,
It was great to see ML407 on tonights episode of Topgear on BBC2. It was only a fleeting view as she flew past Jeremy Clarkson celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the E Type Jaguar but as ever it was amazing to see "our" Spitfire on tv. Grin  She was accompanied by the Historic Aircraft Collection Hurricane in the flypast.
The programme is available on BBC iPlayer at the moment and the vital moment is at about the 59 minute mark if anyone is interested.

  Enjoy

 Best Wishes

Thanks for posting that Rob.

It took ages of hard work and ploanning for me to organise the scenario and it was good to work with Top Gear Team again they are a good bunch.

Many thanks for the iPlayer link Carolyn, great to see as I missed the live showing.
What a great celebration of the e-type & great to see ML407 in formation with HA-C Hurricane over the white cliffs - stiring stuff,   Smiley nice cars too ! - I loved that Eagle sportster but i'd have to save up for a very long time to afford the half mill' £ price !! Shocked
