Bright isn't it

« on: July 25, 2011, 10:52:03 AM »

great display again this year Carolyn - miraculous to see the clouds disappear in time for a nice sunny evening glinting off the wings - nice touch to see a short video clip of ML407 being wheeled out of the hangar and you clipping on your chute about 10 mins before you appeared for the display.

Not sure how you thought you'd sneak past hatfield early on your way south without someone spotting you   Grin

Here is the link to you tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjGij18P_18  Quite a beautiful and dramatic ending with ML407 against the setting sun.

Carolyn,
Greetings from a sunny Manchester....work of course.
Perfect setting and perfect weather, lets keep our fingers crossed for the weekend.

Your display matched the music perfectly, you're just getting so good at this stuff !!

Greetings from dull & cloudy Niagara Falls! (Also work and the USA side is a total dump, so no jealousy, please.) I will make one prom this year, so very much looking forward to seeing Carolyn display to music and comparing it to the CD.

Off now to walk to Canada and then to sort out how to record the falls without getting several thousand pounds worth of kit soaking wet. I have my ML407 coat with me, which could be in for the ultimate test, although it did survive a mini-tornado in Massachusetts the other day...

Back in the UK soon,

Best wishes,

John

that sounds like an amazing journey you are on John.

Very pleased that ML407 coat is with you.  Take care near all that water.

I am posting another youtube clip from Highclere Castle Battle Proms I did this Saturday which is rather good.

GateMaster - very pleased to hear I was in time with the Music!  that is so important to me.
