A great display was enjoyed by all i'm sure, however I did'nt go for the wonderful music, The Grace Spitfire was the only reason for enduring the rain both on the way to Burghley House and also the walk back home via a couple of pubs in Stamford.

I did get several hundred photos and the girlfriend got this video:

Thank you very much indeed for your post and video.  Burghley is the only one of the Battle Proms 6 events we did not have.

Greatly appreciate the feedback, very important to know it was ok.

It was'nt ok ........ it was fantastic Carolyn!

We heard over the tannoy that rain may have delayed you, however the sight and sound of you circling high to the east of Stamford soon bought a ray of sunshine to that damp evening,

The wonderful Merlin music commenced, oh and so did the orchestra in the distance, perfect timing, perfect sound, perfect sky for photos, just perfect!
