Dear All,
OK now is the time for all to disclose any presents we had for Xmas that may be Spitfire related....I'll start with 2 Spitfire cushions, my youngest son and the other half both bought the same thing no problem as  have a Merlin each side.
I also got a plate with a Spitfire on it flying through the clouds (from my mother) and it has the mounting bracket already fitted, only problem is where it will allowed to go !

So what else did everyone get ?
Regards
Andy

I treated myself to a reduced (box damaged) Airfix 1/72 Spitfire MKV for £2 from Sainsburys - bit of a cheat, as it was just before Xmas   Grin

I was given x2 bottles of "Spitfire" ale for Xmas - though there is only one left, which I'm saving for tonight  Smiley

And my personal favourtite - a print from an original painting by Jim W Mitchell (nephew of RJM) titled "Spitfire - final action", Kota Tinggi, Malaya 31st December 1950.  It depicts the leading pair of MKXVIII's over a Malayan village during the last action the Spitfire saw.

Regards,
Mike
