I agree it has been a bit quiet..did have a brief chat with Carolyn the other day to catch up as I have been a bit absent lately due that awful 4 letter word ....work.
Anyway we do a few topics on the go and a few more would be most welcome.

Andy actually chats with our most esteemed Carolyn! A feat many of us can only dream of. (sigh) Cheesy

Actually, not much happening here in the Great White North. Some snowstorms near here but nothing at home thank goodness!!!

I was just wondering who won the caption contest involving the young lad and Richard's magnificent model?

Getting close to the time I had better start preparing my MG Midget ready for his annual hibernation. A sign that the short sportscar driving season has come to an end. Guess that's scheduled for next weekend I suppose. Hopefully it will be nice weather and I can enjoy a few more miles in him before we call it a year.

Been all over this year, even as far south as Tennessee. 2200 miles and no mechanical problems, just what to take. "Forget your granny knickers, pack the thongs! They take up less room!!" Ha ha ha!

Cheers,
Clive. Stranded in the colonies. (Canada)

Hi all, i just thought we'd all hibernated until spring !

" XH668" --  Did you enjoy Cabinet War Rooms, i haven;t been there since 1985.  Another interesting place, albeit Cold War era, is the Nuclear Bunker at Kelvedon Hatch.

Hi  Everyone,
Had the same thoughts myself!
My excuse. Went to the FOD . AAm photoshoot on Wednesday, stayed at the Red Lion at Whittlesford, and after consumed more pints of Chateau Dublin than was good for me,followed by deep slumber!
Seriosly, though, a memeorable evening, leaving me with even more respect for the brave boys who actually took these aircraft to war.
Cheers

Have I missed a post - did not know that there was a competition for the best caption with the lad and Richard's model of ML407 with a GAT on board (only the late Hoof Proudfoot was allowed to call me that) but if any one of you can tell me what GAT is I will send you a prize - first in first win.

Carolyn,
It was only me on the caption competition, it was such a good picture sent to me by Guy so I posted it.
I am quite happy to supply the tea and bacon butty to who you think had the best caption.

Have not got a clue on GAT.......  Great Australian something perhaps.
