And very nice they are too, I see you managed to get the 1lb bag of flour on the way down...was is Self Raising or Self Aiming I wonder!!

Well, he missed so you can draw your own conclusions from that!  I caught a different near miss in a picture I haven't posted where some very startled birds are frantically getting out of the way of the Sea Hurricane.

I'm glad you liked the pics.

Fantastic pictures, i'm a member of the SVAS (The Shuttleworth Veteran Aeroplane Society), and see these classic aircraft all the time. Take a look at the website for the merlin re-build for the spit

I joined the SVAS when I was there on 23rd and also joined the photo section.? A work colleague is an active member and a friend's father also has helped out as a mechanic and got a flight in the Magister apparently.  Unfortunately I got there too late to do the flightline walk this time.

Maybe we could meet up at a display next year - always good to put a face to a name.

Yes! we'll have to meet up. I trying to become an "active member", on the stalls, marshalling or a bit on the aircraft.
