Thank you James and Andy,

Here are some more.

I look forward to being able to shoot ML407  in June when I visit Biggin Hill.

USAF C-17 at RAAF Richmond air show in 2006. While backing up No.3 suffered a compressor stall two days running. ?Will-o-wisp? vortices were seen developing in front of the inner engines moments before the loud explosions and flame. The crew gave the female pilot a hard time after the Friday episode but then the male co-pilot managed to repeat the performance on the Saturday. Check mate.

Hi Planeimages,

It might be worth adding a copyright text to the images similar to that of Darren's photos.

There can be no confusion over what work is re-useable then. Smiley

Some more lovely photos.

Thanks again for you kind comments James,

You are quite correct but then again, all photos posts are automatically copywrited.

Yes, if marked as copyrighted however; people can clearly see they should ask permission before using the image and can help avoid any misunderstandings and subsequent disagreement.

The internet is full of people who frequently ignore copyright law (not suggesting that any are here) but this forum is open to the public and anyone can grab an image - putting a mark on the image might help prevent them from freely reposting the images or claiming them as their own. The images are after all only a "right click -> save as" away Smiley

Wow, Olivia said there were some different images on the message board, she was correct.  They are an exciting collection showing a very busy scene on the Australian front.  Thank you do continue to keep us informed - I have had the honour of being flown out of Tyabb in Judy Paye's Mustang and then around Melbourne and the coast. My first and only time in a Mustang - what a treat. Judy is truly an outstanding woman with incredible talents.  I admire her enormously.

Thank you Carolyn, for your kind comments. It is nice to learn that you have flown with Judy in her Mustang out of Tyabb. She and spam Hourigan and the people at the Peninsula Aero Club are very friendly and I have enjoyed myself on each of my visits there. It must have been a great for thrill for you to fly around the Victorian coast in her machine. Judy has an "Aladdin's cave" of vintage aircraft at Tyabb and very kindly showed me around when I was there for the air-to-air shoot weekend last October.

There are  several CAC Mustangs in Australia which are allowed to carry paying passengers. There are different rules here to those which exist in the UK. CASA only give pax-carrying permits for CAC-built Mustangs as against the North American versions.

I will be in England in June for Biggin Hill and a host of aviation-related photographic opportunities and sources of information for stories for Aero Australia magazine. A copy of the magazine will be on its way to you shortly. I hope to be able to shoot some images of ML407.

Kindest regards  Peter Finlay-Planeimages
