The thing is so stable it has to be pushed really hard to break the rear end loose. When it does go, though, It snaps due to the LSD. Thank heavens for DSC. They should not fit a switch to disable the stability control system.

The student was busier than the proverbial "one-armed-paper-hanger" until I showed him how to be more subtle and not over-correct and end up in a series of "PIOs".  Fixed-hand steering was much more accurate than the "Hendon shuffle" or even hand-over-hand.

My Ford Falcon Station Wagon was more controllable but boring.

Tough job but someone has to do it and better than going to work.

I think that people who have that much power under their right boot do need to know how to control it.
If you do get sideways it is handy to know what to do.

Without DSC this bloke would have been in the weeds long ago. In its absence, the best form of power control is the right foot!  Despite being in the business I am reluctantly forced to conceed that very few will ever learn and retain the skills. Even rF1 drivers make a mess of it occasionally.

When I first looked at the images I had the feeling that traffic in England had really gotten awful and that this could be the M25 during morning commute.  Looks like great fun and certainly a necessary skill in defensive driving.  I am sure you are rarely bored in your job.  Regards

One is punning...

Vickers (lovely people to do with aircraft)
Vicars (lovely people to do with churches)

Of course I now have an image of a bunch of men clad in black , wearing dog collars, slaving away over a row of airframes.? Grin
