I love ML407!

As posted on the Sandbox.
As a thank you we were invited up for the day to see the Vulcan in all its glory.
We did the mechanical instruments for it which proved difficult as some had not been opened up in years.
1965 in fact. The slideshow is from the cockpit of the forward fuselage used for visitors as XH558 was being scrutinised by the CAA.

They are waiting for CAA approval on the flight deck due to the mixture of new and old avionics and some of the kit is still with the repair stations. (actuators etc)
I'n not sure if it will be able to fly at the Falklands celebrations over London but hopefully if wont be too long after that.
I will be at Fairford again this year and they are hoping it can put in an appearance.
They are working 24 hour shifts so things are speeding up.
What a sight it will be.
