Only able to attend the one day of Legends this year, so missed the P40 and Hawker duo, but I am still very impressed by what I did see. The heritage flight was fantastic and certainly a nice change to the norm. I have so many images that I would like to post, but I have tried to narrow it down. I am sure the others will get added in time.

This was a rather nice touch for the flight line

And these demos were well worth seeing, especially the jet!

Now for the flying

Darren, you spoil us, lots of interesting aircraft. Think that's the first flying picture of the one with the contra-rotating prop I've seen.

Thanks Paul,

The contra Spit is based in France and is basically a Shackelton engine in a PRXIX spitfire.

I wasn't at Legends on the Sunday as I was doing something that will spoil you even more Grin. Keep your eyes out for a forum post later in the week

Hi David,

The PRXIX is the blue Spitfire with invasion stripes. The one with a tail hook (second to last image) is a Seafire.

Great photos as usual Darren! Especially the 3 mustangs (both shots).

Hmmmm, maybe I should have gone to legends rather than doing my ironing... Ah well.
