Just to let you all know I have had a last minute booking for Sunday 20th August to display my Stampe and my Spitfire at Duxford for Grandparents day - any inappropiate comments and I will ....well I will anyway....

I will be displaying my Stampe at 14.45 in a looping/rolling manner and the Grace Spitfire at 15.30 in a traditional manner.

Hope that any of you who see this may be able to come along and give me some support.  If you do please do tell the entrance people that you are coming to see The Grace Spitfire as this all helps.

I will be at Duxford from 12.00 near my two aircraft, parked hopefully near the public fence to the east of the Control Tower to meet any members of the public who so wish to meet me and have chat, sign your books etc.

Hope to see you there

I hope Sunday goes well and you get lots of interest. Unfortunately I can't make it this time as I'm taking part in a four-ship 'missing man' flypast to honour the Norwegian Air Force veterans coming to North Weald to help celebrate its 90th anniversary over the weekend.

I was speaking to the Chief Turning Point Marshal at the King's Cup Air Race at Shobdon last weekend. He was enthusing about meeting you recently at Shoreham, so I suggested he should become a supporter too!

Sadly, I'm going to miss the September Spitfire Show as well. That weekend is the 75th Schneider Trophy race at Bembridge and again I'm a Turning Point Marshal for the weekend.

I trust Darren will take loads of great pics so I can see what I was missing!

Sadly I will not be able to make it to this.

It is my girlfriend's birthday and she is currently going through the stress of an extremely poorly uncle, a terminally ill dog and finishing off the last section so she can submit her thesis for her PHD next week.

Dear All,
Visited DX yesterday with Richard Rawle to watch the display, found Carolyn all on her lonesome as Stevie K was taking a well earned holiday and Richard G was away at the Rougham Show ( I believe the Utterly Butterlys were there too !)

Being true Grace Spitfire Supporters we offered our services and Carolyn invited us to be ground crew on the Stampe And Spitfire and PR to the assembled masses.....well a fair few people.

So what with giving out info sheets and key rings we also did out duties ....chocks away etc...under full instruction of course.

Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and a great honour........thank you Carolyn a great honour.

Glad it all went well on Sunday. So now you're Chock Master as well as Gate Master, Andy! Next stage is Duster Master, when you get to polish it after a display.

Our little flypast went OK too, althoughit was only a three-ship in the end as one Bulldog got weathered in at Leicester.

Nice to see the pics of the Cassutts at Rougham.

Trevor,
Choccy Master now thats sounds good I prefer plain to milk !!!

Duster Master...well actually it is Oily Rag Master as I also had the enviable task of laying on the grass under a shapely lady and wiping the oily streaks !

Must finish the job you know.

Did anyone take any pictures on Sunday that can be put on the board...I only managed a bit of video when Carolyn returned for a run and break.
