Hello and welcome to every one.

Guy's not that i'm a Doctor Who fan in the strict sence, but i do love Daleks. This is
my own battle group, they are 12" in hieght and are full radio controle, there speach
is fantastic particualy if you have three or four running at the same time,to say they kick
off is a major understatment.

The photo of five together, four of them are repainted bubble bath toy's,the red one
is radio controle they are 8" in hieght.

Hope you all are well, roll on the summer. Wink.Ken

hi kenzo, i am a mega dalek fan also, i have bought one of the bubble bath ones for my bro,

and i have just bought him a Dalek alarm clock, i think the Daleks attraction comes from hiding

behind the settee in the seventies when you heard them and being terrified to come out,

shame the kids of today don't get the same thrills we use to as kids, they don't know what

they are missing,  great photos,     crazy-haze  Kiss

You are an enemy of the Daleks....EXTERMINATE...EXTERMINATE.

Not bad at all.

Also a bit of a Doctor Who fan...now I remember watching the very first episode back in November 1963.....I had just started at
Grammar school....this was in the junk yard in London with William Hartnell, Carole Annn Ford, William Rushton and I can't remember the other actress's name.

The first encounter with the Daleks on Skarro was their second adventure, the first one was to the Stone Age.

How about that then Ms Haze

Wouldn't say i was a big Dr Who fan, but the Daleks were great.
Probally watched it most during John Pertwee's stint as the Doctor.

Recording the past for the future.

Hello,

In my theatre life, I've worked with both Tom Baker and David Tennant, and I remember Sylvester McCoy when he was still Sylveste - he added the 'r' later -  with The Ken Campbell Roadshow, banging nails up his nose, putting ferrets down his trousers and doing extremely unlikely things with a Golden Fountain firework. All extremely nice people, although Tom Baker could be a bit scary at times. I have some nice old analog audio equipment that lets me create the Dalek voice, but it's been a long time since anyone's asked me to do it!

Best wishes,

John

WOW john, i would love to hear your dalek Nice, i love that Nice, i have a photo of me and my brother sitting in a dalek at black pool in about 1967, it's a real

cracker, i looked so frightened, and your right about tom baker he was a scary character especially when he smiled with those big teeth of his, my brother met him

at the isle of man TT in the early eighties , he was a big bike fan, i think he rode a BMW bike back then, i think john pertwite was a great doctor who, i love the sound

of his voice, very gentle but stern, and my favourite doctors assistant has to be bonny Langford, no i think it was Dennis watermans x, i can't remember her name though,

it's a funny name, god what is it, no can't think of it, got it, rula lenska, she had a great husky voice, i liked her as the assistant best, talking of cult series did anybody

like the prisoner, i have them all on dvd, what a series, i would love to go to port merian one day were they filmed it, anyway gota go ,  still in my dressing gown,

Haze,
You will enjoy Portmeirion...

www.portmeirion-village.com

Deborah and I did the tour a fews years back prior to a brisk stroll up Snowdon (Miners track)
As a "Prisoner" fan it is worth the visit...No 6 's house is a only a very small room with a door very cleverly done.

Have fun

" The Prisoner "  brilliant series, time they repeated it on terrestrial telly !
We've been meaning to go to Portmeirion  for years, must find the time.
I think Jools Holland has built a scaled down version of it where he lives.

Many years ago (I think it was actually 1984), I was on my way to make a recording in some remote part of Wales and got seriously held up in traffic jams and roadworks and it became apparent that I'd have to stay the night somewhere. Portmeirion was quite close and a phone call from a roadside call box (no cell-phones in those days) ascertained that they had a room free in the main hotel, so I struggled on through the night and eventually landed up at the hotel in the early hours of the morning, collected my key and went straight to bed. When I woke up the next morning, there was martial music playing over a loudspeaker system and I looked out of my bedroom window to see Mini Mokes driving around and a lot of people in blazers and straw hats. Turned out that I'd arrived in the middle of a Prisoner Weekend and as I left, a human chess game was about to start on the lawn. I only had time for a brief look around and I've never been back since, but would like to go and visit with more leisure.

Strange days...

John

                       That was cool John.
Years ago i was going to join the "Six of one ", but never got around to it for what ever reason.
I kinda like the idea of attending a Prisoner Convention, there just aren't enough weekends to do everything.
