I'm hoping to be able to pop down for this: any hints on when the display will be and where the best place to view/record might be? I've only been to London City as a fare-paying passenger, so not too familiar with the terrain.

If it makes a noise, I'll record it. If it moves and makes a noise, I'll record it in in high definition surround-sound.

Massive queue to get in again, but just made it in time to catch the tail end of Carolyn's display and all of the Dukes. They're getting a really excellent routine together and as I wasn't recording (too many people and far to much extraneous noise) I was able to watch and even take some very dodgy video. Must buy a tripod...

Carolyn landed in spite of what looked like a very blustery cross wind and I did manage to get a bit of that on video as well as a few shots of ML407 on the ground and moving off to the take off point with some some substantial tail ballast! The DC-6 was a blast as well, and the Swift Glider was a graceful closer to the show.

Pictures to come when I have a moment. Update - Pictures of ML407 and others on the Photo Boards.

Lovely to see the Carolyn and Richard both in full display mode and great to have the sun shining for most of the time.

Thanks to them for an excellent afternoon.

Regards,

John

Another great Fun Day. The conditions were certainly challenging. Carolyn timed it just right. Good to see all the interest in the aircraft too.
