Weather was better this year (no rain at all ! Grin) - great display with timing spot onto the music, Carolyn - we+everyone around us thought it was fantastic.  Good show ! - stuart + Allison

Thank you so very much for letting me know as I have no idea if it works because, as you know I work to timing as I cannot hear the music.  Nice to have good weather though.

The regular clarinet player for this concert was working on a show that I'd done the sound for at The National Theatre and saw me looking at some photographs that I'd taken. "That's the Grace Spitfire! I almost got sacked last year because I was watching her fly, rather than playing the music..."

The display was certainly well received by our little group. In particular, when Carolyn appeared from out of nowhere from behind the trees towards the end, there was a huge "Whoo!" from the crowd. I've been to many airshows but, for me, this display of a single Spitfire in the middle of the English countryside has a much greater impact and is virtually guaranteed to set one's bottom lip a-quiver.

Up late due to taking a day off! wonderful responses from you all. Worried about the Clarinet player - I know it is hard for them to concentrate as a surprisingly large number like the Grace Spitfire and delighted that my - they think I have gone plan- worked.  Thank you for the feedback it makes my day so happy.

Don't worry about Tom, the clarinet player; as far as I know he was there again this year! Glad to hear it was a success.

John
