Hi there,
I intend to attend the Duxford show in October and was just wondering whether there will be a stand/stall representing  the Grace Spitfire present or if Carolyn will make a personal appearance ?.

Any info will be most welcome.

Thanks

Tony.

Tony,
As far as I know there will not be a stall at the October airshow however, there will be a few of us around as Carolyn is displaying ML407.
What we do is find a convenient time to meet up maybe have a coffee and chat.

Tony,
Just to get the ball rolling, lets say a meet at Hanger 2 (TFC) South West door at 1100 ish.

Dave (Tailwheel) is possibly on duty in his FOD role and James and Darren may be around with their cameras so we have a start ....

I have my ticket, a new 300mm VR (450mm equivalent) lens for the D80, a new microphone to try out and the use of my wife's car whilst she's adding musical lustre to the latest Harry Potter epic at Abbey Road. Depending on 'cello chaufferring duties, the weather, whether they let me go through to the overflow car park and other factors, I will endeavour to be around at 11 a.m. and will try and find you all.

Legs crossed for the fine weather to continue.

Regards,

John

That's a real shame. It was my last chance this season to try and get a recording. Ah well, there's always next year.

Hi all;

Hi everyone!

Sadly I won't be able to attend, but I send my best wishes for fine weather for all concerned. Haven't seen a Vulcan fly for many years but it is a wonderful sight to behold. I'm not really one for jet aircraft being more of a propellor driven enthusiast, but the Vulcan....oh, yeahhhhhh!!

So, I'll indent to QM Stores for the following:

NSN: 2120-99-143-8890 Weather, Fine, For flying. Qty: 1 day.

All the best!

Cheers,
Clive. Stranded in the colonies. (Canada)
