Here are a few pictures taken the other day at Duxford. It was VERY cold. I have to say that the day got off to a slightly weird start when a group of German tourists wanted to know the history. Shades of Basil Fawlty...

Regards,

John

Hi John, if you mentioned the war, I hope you got away with it.

No, it was OK - I displayed immense tact and urged them to look at the website and join the supporters' club. Actually, the day got off to a really great start as I was early enough to see Richard make an extremely exuberant arrival into Duxford in ML407, which made me grin like a mad thing. Right at the end of the day, Carolyn flew and, fairly typically, just as she was taking off, my final set of batteries died the death, so I missed a getting to record a very nice personal display. Never mind, there will be other days, I'm sure.

I did a fair amount of PR to passers-by, including three guys from Texas, an elderly Australian and assorted small children who all wanted to know more, so I hope they'll all find their way here and lend some support as well.

Oh, and the cold weather brought out some natty headwear...

Best wishes,

John

            Hello John,

Some great shots there, thanks for posting.

Maybe some ML 407 branded fleecy hats should be added to the goodies list, ideal for the present weather.
