Today was only day we could go.

No rain and lots of flying, unfortunately it became too windy for the Spitfires - oh well there's always next year and the annual gathering. Hope those going tomorrow have better weather.

Still great to see all the wonderful Spitfires in this the 70th Anniversary year, especially of course ML407.

We (my girlfriend and I) are going tomorrow, so fingers crossed for the weather - having seen the weather forecast last night I didn't expect any flying at all! Glad they got some in though!

Hope you got some pictures to share with us Guy

I went yesterday and although the Spits didn't fly, I did have a nice surprise. I arrived at about 08:15 and parked by Hanger 2. As I walked passed the front of the hanger, I was greeted by the huge doors 'magically' opening in front of me and there she was - ML407 in all her glory - a perfect start to the day. I did go round to the Grace tent to say hello on my lunch break, but unfortunately Carolyn had already left.

The small digital camera I had with me yesterday wasn't really up to the job so the pics I did take yesterday James weren't up to much!

I have posted (somewhat belatedly) a couple of my favourite ground shots (on the photos board) from the annual gathering earlier this year.
