Hi everyone,

Well - as ever when I go to Duxford I got taken by surprise by the weather and am now somewhat burned - but what a great day out!

The flying was great throughout the day especially with the presence of the Chinook and it's wonderful display, the best bit of course was seeing Carolyn et al and ML407 flying.

The pictures I have are extremely poor quality due to my slightly pathetic camera, I am sure Darren will come along with some real images later Smiley

I only got 3 really of ML407:

ML407 being taken ready for take off (bit windy for taxiing):

ML407 making the first pass in formation (last aircraft in the diamond):

ML407 with the full pass (first formation, last aircraft)

Wonderful day indeed, even if I do resemble a lobster Smiley

Great pics James - at least the Spits were able to fly yesterday.

We did see many of them at Goodwood on Friday, although the set was not complete without ML407 of course!

Nice pictures James, i see Carolyn was riding shotgun on the Fergie. Sonds like i missed a great days flying.
But as Guy said, we did have Spitfires at Goodwood. Eight on the Friday and Saturday, after which four departed, to Duxford i guess.  On the Sunday they taxied MH 434 onto the start straight, where Lord March paid a lovely tribute to Ray. This was
followed by a minute silence and then two Spitfires flew a tribute to Ray. A special moment.
Looking forward to seeing Carolyn and ML 407 flying at Old Warden.

                          Regards to all

I will try and grab some members from the Save Concorde Forum to come over here  Smiley

I think i've seen ML407 about 8 times this year... never gets old  Smiley Also makes my dad jealous when he is stuck in the Isle of Wight  Grin
